Charger displays E07 and does not initiate charging; sometimes occurs after a power outage.

Safety warning: A stuck contactor can leave the output live unexpectedly. Isolate power at the breaker before opening the charger.

• 1. Power-cycle the charger: Turn off the EV charger breaker for 5 minutes, then restore power and check if E07 clears.
• 2. Listen for contactor operation: Start a charge session and listen for a distinct click from the internal contactor. No click or a continuous buzzing sound indicates a mechanical or coil issue.
• 3. Inspect contactor (advanced): With power OFF and cover removed, locate the main contactor. Check for burn marks, melted plastic, or loose coil/control wiring. Ensure the feedback auxiliary contacts are properly wired to the control board.
• 4. Manually test contactor (qualified only): Some contactors allow manual operation with a test button. With power OFF, press gently to see if the mechanism moves freely. If it is jammed, the contactor must be replaced.
• 5. Check control board connectors: Reseat the low-voltage harness between the contactor and the Land Rover control board, ensuring a firm connection.
• 6. If E07 remains: Replace the main contactor assembly and, if necessary, the control board. This work should be performed by a qualified EV charger technician.
