• 3. Inspect supply cable: Look for damage to the supply cable sheath that could indicate a broken earth conductor.
• 4. Verify bonding: Ensure that the EV charger circuit is correctly bonded according to local regulations (e.g., PME considerations). This may require an electrician.
• 5. Power-cycle and retest: After correcting any earth issues, restore power and check if E08 clears.
• 6. If earth is sound but E08 persists: The PE sensing circuit on the Land Rover control board may be defective. Arrange for control board replacement by a service professional.
