Possible Causes
Loose or misoriented current transformers, Calibration drift in metering IC, Firmware bug in energy calculation, Partial conductor bypassing CT
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF power at the breaker before accessing internal wiring.
Steps:
- 1. Compare over time: Verify discrepancies over several charge sessions to rule out one-time anomalies.
- 2. Inspect CTs (qualified person): With cover removed and power OFF, ensure all output conductors pass through the CTs as designed and that CTs are oriented correctly.
- 3. Firmware update: Apply any firmware updates that address metering accuracy.
- 4. Replace CTs or board: If physical installation is correct and firmware is current, replace the CT set or main control board as needed.
