Possible Causes

Corrupted RTC data, Failed backup capacitor or battery on control board, Firmware bug affecting scheduling, Loss of network time sync on connected models

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: No internal high-voltage work is required for basic checks, but turn OFF power if removing covers.

Steps:

  • 1. Disable schedules: Using the Leviton app or front panel, disable all scheduled charging and attempt an immediate manual charge. If charging works, the issue is limited to scheduling.
  • 2. Reset date/time: Reconfigure the charger’s date and time via app or UI. Ensure the time zone is correct.
  • 3. Firmware update: Check for firmware updates that address RTC or scheduling issues and apply them per Leviton instructions.
  • 4. Network time: For Wi‑Fi models, ensure the charger is connected to the internet so it can sync time from servers.
  • 5. Persistent E15: If the error remains and schedules do not function even after updates and resets, the RTC hardware on the main board may be defective and require board replacement.
