Charger’s status LEDs do not match the actual charging state (e.g., shows ready while actively charging).

Safety first: This is usually not immediately dangerous, but can hide other issues. Always verify charging status on the vehicle as well.

• 1. Power-cycle:
  • Reset the charger and see if LED behavior normalizes.
• 2. Reseat LED harness:
  • Open the housing and reseat the LED or display harness connectors.
• 3. Inspect display board:
  • Look for damaged traces or components; replace the board if necessary.

If incorrect indications persist, a firmware update or main control board replacement may be required; contact Megear support.
