Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before opening the charger. Do not touch live circuits.
- 1. Power reset:
- Unplug or switch off the charger for 2–3 minutes.
- Restore power and check if E10 clears.
- 2. Reseat display cable:
- Open the Megear housing.
- Locate the flat ribbon or multi-wire harness connecting the display/LED board to the main control board.
- Unplug and reinsert the connector on both ends to clean the contacts.
- 3. Inspect display board:
- Check for cracked solder joints at the connector or buttons.
- Look for moisture or corrosion on the display PCB.
- If damaged, replace the display board.
- 4. Board compatibility:
- If a board was recently replaced, verify that the display and main control board are compatible part numbers from Megear.
If E10 persists after reseating cables and inspecting the display, the main control board may have a communication driver fault and require replacement.
