How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate mains power before opening the charger.
- Power reset: Turn off the charger’s breaker for 2–3 minutes, then restore power. Many transient communication faults clear after a cold reboot.
- Inspect low-voltage harness: Open the unit and locate the multi-core communication cable between the main control PCB and the power module. Ensure all connectors are fully seated and latched.
- Check for damage: Look for pinched, abraded, or heat-damaged low-voltage wiring. Replace the harness if any conductor is compromised.
- Firmware check: Using the NewMotion installer app or portal, verify that both the main board and power module firmware are up to date and compatible. Perform an update if available.
- Board substitution: If E009 persists and wiring is intact, one of the boards is likely defective. Replace the power module or main control PCB following manufacturer procedures.
