E001

Charger will not start charging; app shows E001 and LED ring remains solid red.

EVSE Contactor Welded or Stuck

E002

Charging session stops immediately after plugging in; app or portal shows E002 and LED ring flashes red.

Ground Fault / Residual Current Device (RCD) Trip

E003

Charger refuses to start; LED ring shows red/amber pattern and app reports E003 – Overcurrent or short circuit.

Output Overcurrent / Short Circuit Protection Trip

E004

Charger shows E004 in the app; LED ring pulses red; unit will not enable charging due to overvoltage.

Input Overvoltage Protection

Charger intermittently stops charging; app logs E005 – Undervoltage detected; LED ring shows red/blue pattern.

Damaged Tethered Charging Cable

Symptom

Charger completely dead – no LEDs, no response in app, vehicle does not detect connection.

No Power / Dead EVSE

Symptom

Charger frequently disconnects from Wi-Fi or mobile network; app shows charger offline intermittently.

Unstable Network Connectivity

Symptom

Charger makes loud clicking, buzzing, or humming noises during operation.

Abnormal Mechanical Noise from Contactor or Power Module

Symptom

Charger or cable becomes very hot to the touch during charging, possibly with a hot plastic smell.

Overheating Connector or Internal Wiring

Symptom

Charger powers on but vehicle will not start charging; LED ring stays blue or green, no error code shown.

No Charge Start Without Error Indication

Symptom

Charger starts charging but frequently stops and restarts; vehicle repeatedly connects and disconnects.

Intermittent Charging / Unstable Session

Symptom

Charger trips the house RCD/RCBO as soon as a vehicle is plugged in, but no specific charger error code is logged.

Nuisance or Real Earth Leakage Trip

Symptom

Charger’s front cover or enclosure is cracked, loose, or rattling, but charging still works.

Mechanical Enclosure Damage

Symptom

Charger’s internal fan (if equipped) runs loudly or does not run at all, and unit may overheat.

Cooling Fan Failure or Obstruction

Symptom

Charger’s LED ring does not light, but the unit still charges the vehicle normally.

LED Indicator / Light Ring Failure

Symptom

RFID cards are not recognized; no beep or LED change when presenting a card, but charger otherwise works in open mode.

RFID Reader Non-Functional (No Error Code)

Symptom

Type 2 socket flap or cover is broken or will not close properly.

Mechanical Socket Cover / Flap Failure

Symptom

Vehicle reports reduced charging power or only charges at a very low current, even though charger is rated higher.

Derated Output / Limited Charging Current

Symptom

Water or condensation visible inside the charger housing or around the cable gland; occasional unexplained trips.
