Safety first: Power down the charger before removing or inserting any SD card.

• Remove and reinsert: With power off, remove the SD card, inspect for damage, and reinsert firmly. Restore power and check if E023 clears.
• Replace SD card: If the card is user-replaceable, install a new, industrial-grade SD card of the specified capacity, preformatted as per NewMotion guidelines.
• Backup and reformat: If you can access the card externally, back up logs, then reformat using the recommended filesystem and reinstall.
• Slot/PCB fault: If a known-good card still triggers E023, the SD card slot or controller on the main PCB may be defective and require board replacement.
