Possible Causes
External E-stop button engaged, Open circuit on interlock terminals, Miswired external control input, Faulty digital input on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Identify why the emergency stop was triggered before resetting.
- Locate E-stop: Find any external emergency stop button or interlock wired to the charger. Ensure it has not been pressed or latched.
- Reset E-stop: Twist or pull to reset the button according to its design. Confirm the contacts close properly.
- Check wiring: With power off, inspect the wiring from the E-stop to the charger’s interlock terminals. Tighten loose screws and repair any breaks.
- Bypass test (qualified only): Temporarily bridge the interlock terminals at the charger to confirm whether the input circuit is working. If E024 clears, the issue is in the external wiring or device.
- PCB input fault: If E024 remains even with a proper bridge, the digital input channel on the main PCB may be faulty.
