Possible Causes
Blown upstream fuse on one phase, Loose phase connection at charger terminal block, Incorrect 3‑phase wiring configuration, Faulty phase sensing circuit on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: 3‑phase systems carry high fault currents. Only qualified electricians should work on them.
- Step 1 – Confirm model: Verify that your Pod Point is a 3‑phase model and that the supply is correctly specified as 3‑phase.
- Step 2 – Technician supply check: An electrician should measure voltage on all three phases at the charger input and confirm all are present and within tolerance.
- Step 3 – Tighten terminations: With power isolated, check and tighten all phase conductors in the charger terminal block to the specified torque.
- Step 4 – Upstream protection: Inspect upstream fuses/MCBs for a blown phase and replace as necessary, investigating the cause of any blown fuse.
- Step 5 – PCB phase sensing: If all phases are present but the charger still reports phase loss, the phase sensing circuit on the PCB may be faulty and require replacement.
