Possible Causes
Active off‑peak schedule in Pod Point app, Smart tariff integration limiting charge times, Incorrect time or timezone settings, Overlapping schedules causing no available window
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: This is a configuration issue, not a hardware failure.
- Step 1 – Open Pod Point app: Navigate to the charger settings and review all active schedules and smart tariff options.
- Step 2 – Disable schedules: Temporarily disable all schedules and smart charging features, then attempt to start a manual charge.
- Step 3 – Check time settings: Ensure your phone and the charger (if applicable) are set to the correct time and timezone.
- Step 4 – Recreate schedule: If you need scheduled charging, delete and recreate a simple schedule, then test that the charger starts and stops at the expected times.
- Step 5 – Contact support: If the charger still behaves unexpectedly, Pod Point support can review backend configuration for your unit.
