Possible Causes
Failed temperature sensor on control board, Faulty current sensor output, Damaged analog-to-digital converter on main MCU, Loose sensor harness
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Sensor faults can cause incorrect protection behavior; do not ignore this error.
- Step 1 – Power cycle: Turn breaker OFF for 2 minutes, then ON to clear transient faults.
- Step 2 – Visual harness check: With power OFF and cover removed, inspect all small sensor harnesses (to CTs, temperature sensors, etc.) and ensure they are fully seated on the control board.
- Step 3 – Check for board contamination: Look for corrosion, insect debris, or dust buildup around sensor connectors. Gently clean with dry compressed air.
If E015 persists, the affected sensor or the main control board will need replacement by a qualified technician.
