- Step 1 – Verify time: In the Rivian app, confirm the charger’s time zone and current time are correct.
- Step 2 – Simplify schedules: Disable all schedules on the vehicle and charger, then set a single simple schedule on one device only (preferably the vehicle or the charger, not both).
- Step 3 – Test start: Set a schedule a few minutes in the future and observe whether charging begins.
If scheduling remains unreliable, report the behavior to Rivian support; a firmware update or cloud-side fix may be required.
