How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not use the charger if any copper conductor is visible or if the cable jacket is deeply cut.
- Disconnect power: Turn off the breaker and unplug the charger.
- Inspect entire length: Run your hand (with gloves) along the cable to feel for soft spots, cuts, or flat areas.
- Do not tape over damage: Electrical tape is not an adequate repair for EVSE cables.
