Failed RFID reader module, Damaged RFID antenna, Corrupted user card database, Loose reader cable
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before opening the front panel around the RFID reader.
- Test multiple cards: Try more than one authorized RFID card or tag to rule out a single bad card.
- Check card orientation and distance: Hold the card flat against the marked reader area for several seconds.
- Reset user database: If supported, use the Zencar app or admin menu to reset and re-enroll RFID cards.
- Inspect reader module: With power OFF, verify the RFID reader board and antenna are securely mounted and its cable is firmly connected to the main control PCB.
- If E17 persists: Replace the RFID reader module or main control PCB as specified by Zencar.
