How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the freezer before removing the control panel.

Power reset: Disconnect power for 5–10 minutes and reconnect to see if the panel recovers.
Inspect panel: Remove the control panel cover and check the ribbon cable connection between the keypad and display/PCB.
Clean contacts: If accessible, gently clean contacts with isopropyl alcohol and reseat the cable.
Replace interface: If buttons remain unresponsive, replace the Balay user interface / control panel board.

Take care not to damage plastic clips or the display when removing the panel.
