Freezer shows F8 and may not reach set temperature; compressor may run but cooling is weak.

Safety: Do not attempt to open the sealed refrigeration system yourself. Unplug the freezer before cleaning around the compressor and condenser.

• Clean condenser: Remove the rear lower cover and vacuum dust from the condenser coils and any condenser fan. Improved airflow can restore performance if coils were clogged.
• Check ventilation: Ensure adequate clearance around the freezer and that warm air can escape from the back and top.
• Monitor temperature: After cleaning, allow 24 hours and check if the freezer reaches –18°C. If not, a sealed system issue is likely.
• Look for oil stains: Visible oily residue on tubing or joints can indicate a refrigerant leak.

Refrigerant leaks, compressor replacement, and capillary blockages require specialized tools and must be handled by an F-gas certified refrigeration technician.
