Safety: Do not attempt to open the sealed system. Unplug the freezer before cleaning around the condenser.

• Check door seal and usage: Ensure the door closes fully and is not opened excessively. Overloading with warm food can also cause temporary poor cooling.
• Clean condenser: Vacuum dust from the condenser coils and fan (if present) to improve heat dissipation.
• Monitor over 24 hours: After cleaning and minimizing door openings, check if the temperature reaches –18°C.
• Inspect for frost pattern: On accessible evaporators, a healthy system shows even frost across most of the coil. Frost only at the inlet or no frost suggests a sealed system issue.

If cooling remains weak, a refrigerant or compressor problem is likely and must be addressed by a certified refrigeration technician.
