Interior light not working but freezer otherwise cools normally.

Safety: Unplug the freezer before replacing any light components.

• Check door switch: Verify that the door switch operates correctly (see E7). A faulty switch can keep the light off.
• Inspect light module: Remove the light cover inside the freezer and check for visible damage or discoloration.
• Replace light: Install a new Balay freezer LED light module or bulb as specified in your manual.
• Test: Restore power and open the door to confirm the light works.

If the new light does not work and the switch is good, the light circuit on the main PCB may be faulty and require professional repair.
