Possible Causes

Unit not leveled, Feet not firmly on floor, Freezer in contact with wall or cabinets, Uneven or weak flooring under unit

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure the power cord is not under the feet before adjusting the unit.

Level the freezer:

  • Place a spirit level on the top front edge of the freezer.
  • Adjust the front leveling feet until the unit is level side-to-side and slightly tilted back.

Check clearances:

  • Ensure there is a small gap between the freezer and adjacent walls or cabinets.
  • Move the unit slightly forward if it is touching the wall.

Stabilize:

  • If the floor is uneven, use shims under the feet to prevent rocking.
  • Confirm all feet are firmly in contact with the floor.

Test: Run the freezer and observe vibration. Adjust as needed until vibration is minimized.
