Buttons on freezer control panel unresponsive or only some buttons work.

Safety: Unplug the freezer before removing the control panel.

Steps:

• Inspect panel: Check for signs of moisture or physical damage on the Fisher & Paykel control panel.
• Check cable: Remove the panel and reseat the ribbon cable or harness connecting the UI to the main board.
• Test buttons: If only certain buttons fail and there is no visible damage, the keypad membrane is likely worn. Replace the user interface panel.
• Control board: If a new UI does not resolve the issue, the main control board may be faulty.
