Possible Causes
Stuck control button, liquid ingress into control panel, damaged keypad membrane, user interface PCB failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the freezer before opening the control panel.
Steps:
- Inspect buttons: Check if any button feels stuck or does not click normally. Gently work the button to free it.
- Dry moisture: If condensation or spills reached the control, remove the panel and carefully dry the area. Do not use heat guns directly on electronics.
- Clean contacts: For membrane keypads, cleaning is limited; if the keypad is damaged, replace the user interface panel.
- Reset: After reassembly, reconnect power and see if E2 clears. If not, the UI PCB may need replacement.
