Freezer interior light not working but cooling is normal.

Safety: Unplug the freezer before replacing any light components.

Steps:

• Check door switch: Press the door switch manually. If the light does not come on and the control does not react, test and replace the door switch if faulty.
• Inspect light module: Remove the light cover inside the freezer. On many Fisher & Paykel models, the light is an LED module. Check for burn marks or water ingress.
• Replace light: Install a genuine Fisher & Paykel LED light module or bulb of the correct type. Do not substitute non-approved parts.
• Control board: If the new light and switch are good but still no light, the main control board light driver may be defective and require replacement.
