Possible Causes
Loose display-to-main-board harness, Faulty temperature sensor, Failed display PCB, Main control board communication fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the freezer before accessing the display or control board.
- Power cycle: Unplug for 5 minutes and plug back in to see if the display resets.
- Check harness: Remove the display panel and rear control board cover. Inspect and reseat the harness between the display and main board.
- Sensor check: If the display shows dashes where temperature should be, the cabinet sensor may be open. Test and replace the cabinet temperature sensor if faulty.
- Replace display: If wiring and sensors are good but the display remains corrupted, replace the Galanz display board.
- Main board: Persistent communication errors after replacing the display may require main control board replacement.
