How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the freezer before removing the control panel or touching any wiring.
- Clean panel surface: Wipe the control panel with a slightly damp cloth to remove sticky residues that may cause buttons to stick. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the panel.
- Power reset: Leave the freezer unplugged for 5–10 minutes, then plug it back in to reset the electronics.
- Inspect connections: Remove the control panel cover and check the ribbon cable or harness connecting the panel to the main control board. Reseat connectors firmly.
- Check for moisture: Look for signs of condensation or water inside the panel. Dry gently if present and identify any source of leaks.
- Replace panel: If buttons remain unresponsive, replace the Galanz control panel / UI board.
