Possible Causes

Burned-out LED or bulb, Faulty door switch, Loose light wiring connector, Failed light driver on control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the freezer before replacing bulbs or accessing wiring.

  • Check door switch: Press the door switch manually. If the light flickers or comes on intermittently, the switch may be faulty. See the door switch fault section for replacement.
  • Replace bulb/LED module: If your Galanz freezer uses a replaceable bulb, remove the light cover and install a new bulb of the same type and wattage. For LED modules, replace the entire Galanz LED light module if it is dark or visibly damaged.
  • Inspect wiring: Ensure the light module connector is firmly seated and wires are not pinched or cut.
  • Control board: If the switch and light module are good but there is still no light, the light output on the main control board may have failed. Board replacement may be required if light is important to you.
