How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before working inside the cabinet.
- Door switch test: With the freezer powered, press and hold the door switch; you should normally hear the fan. If not, unplug and inspect.
- Check for ice blockage: Remove the inner rear panel and look for ice around the fan. Defrost fully if necessary.
- Test fan motor: Measure resistance across the fan motor terminals. Replace the evaporator fan motor if open or seized.
