Possible Causes
Loose or intermittent NTC sensor connection, Damaged sensor cable, Electrical noise or interference on sensor lines, Faulty ADC on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before handling sensors or PCB connectors.
- Inspect sensor wiring: Locate the compartment and evaporator sensors and follow their cables to the PCB. Look for damage or pinched sections.
- Reseat connectors: Unplug and reconnect sensor plugs at both ends to ensure good contact.
- Test sensors: Measure resistance at stable temperatures and check for stable readings. Replace any sensor with fluctuating or intermittent resistance.
- PCB issue: If sensors and wiring are good but readings remain erratic, the main PCB’s analog input may be faulty and require replacement.
