Interior light does not work when the door is opened, but the freezer cools normally.

Safety first: Unplug the freezer before replacing bulbs or working on wiring.

• Check bulb/module: On models with replaceable bulbs, remove and inspect the bulb. Replace with the correct type if filament is broken.
• Test door switch: Press the door switch manually and see if the light flickers. If not, the switch or wiring may be faulty.
• Inspect wiring: Remove the light cover and check for loose connectors.
• Replace light module or switch: Install the correct Hotpoint-Ariston LED light module or door switch if defective.
