Freezer door will not seal properly; frost forms around the door opening.

Inspect the gasket:

• Look for tears, gaps, or hardened sections of the gasket.
• Close the door on a strip of paper at several points; if it pulls out easily, the seal is weak there.

Try reshaping:

• Use a hair dryer on low heat to gently warm and reshape minor gasket distortions. Do not overheat.

Adjust hinges and leveling:

• Level the cabinet so the door naturally swings closed.
• Tighten hinge screws and adjust the door position so it aligns evenly with the cabinet.

Replace gasket if needed:

• Order an Igloo-compatible door gasket for your model.
• Remove the old gasket and install the new one, pressing the retainer into the door channel all around.
