Possible Causes
Loose connection between display board and main PCB, Damaged ribbon cable, Faulty user interface board, Faulty main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the freezer before opening the control panel housing.
- Access control panel: Remove screws or clips holding the front control panel. Carefully pull it forward to expose the display and keypad board.
- Check connectors: Inspect the ribbon cable and connectors between the user interface and the main control board. Reseat all plugs firmly.
- Look for damage: Examine the display PCB for burn marks, corrosion from moisture, or cracked solder joints at the connector.
- Dry moisture: If condensation is present, gently dry the area and allow the panel to air out before reassembly.
- Replace UI board if needed: If AL07 persists and buttons remain unresponsive, replace the user interface / display board with the correct Ignis part.
If a new UI board does not resolve AL07, the main control board may be defective and should be checked by a technician.
