How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before testing components.
- Check setpoint: Verify the temperature setting is not at maximum cold unintentionally.
- Test thermostat/sensor: On mechanical Ignis models, test the thermostat for continuity changes when turning the knob. On electronic models, test the NTC sensor as per spec.
- Inspect control board: Look for a relay stuck closed (burn marks). If found, the main control board should be replaced.
