Display shows 'AL' or alarm icon, beeping, temperature may be high or sensor-related error present

Safety: No immediate electrical hazard, but protect food safety.

• Silence alarm: Press the alarm or mute button to silence the beeper while you investigate.
• Check door and seals: Ensure the door is fully closed and the gasket is intact and clean.
• Verify temperature: Use a separate thermometer to confirm actual freezer temperature. If it is within normal range, the alarm may be due to a past event and will clear after several hours.
• Inspect for sensor errors: If an E1/E2/E3 code is also present, follow the relevant sensor troubleshooting steps.

If the alarm persists for more than 24 hours with correct temperature and no error codes, the control board or sensor calibration may be faulty and should be checked by a technician.
