Possible Causes

Blown household fuse or tripped breaker, Faulty mains plug or cable, Internal thermal fuse or main PCB fuse open, Faulty main control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Always unplug before opening any panels. Do not bypass fuses with wire or foil.

  • Check outlet: Test the wall socket with another appliance to confirm power is present.
  • Inspect plug and cable: Look for cuts, burns, or loose pins. Replace the plug or cable if damaged.
  • Check household breaker: Reset any tripped breaker and replace blown fuses with the correct rating.
  • Internal fuse: If comfortable, remove the rear panel and inspect the main PCB for an onboard fuse. Test and replace only with the same type and rating.

If the freezer remains dead after confirming supply and fuses, the main control board may be faulty and should be replaced by a technician.
