How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing display components.
Steps:
- Compare the displayed temperature with an accurate freezer thermometer placed inside for several hours.
- Inspect the cabinet temperature sensor wiring and connector at the control board; reseat if loose.
- Remove the display panel and check the ribbon cable between the display PCB and main control board.
- If the display shows erratic values despite correct sensor readings, replace the display PCB.
