Possible Causes

High internal temperature after power outage, Door left open or not latched, Door switch failure, Excessive warm food load

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure food safety; if the freezer has been warm for many hours, some items may need to be discarded.

Steps to clear AL/alarm:

  • 1. Confirm door closure: Make sure the door is fully closed and not obstructed by baskets or large items.
  • 2. Check door switch: Press the door switch by hand; the interior light should turn off. If it does not, the switch may be faulty and keeping the alarm active.
  • 3. Silence alarm: Use the alarm reset or mute button (if provided) on the control panel. The alarm icon may remain until temperature returns to normal.
  • 4. Allow recovery time: After a power cut or door left open, allow 12–24 hours for the freezer to reach set temperature again.

Note: If the alarm persists despite correct temperature and door closure, the door switch or control PCB may require replacement.
