Steps to restore power:
- 1. Check outlet: Plug another appliance into the same socket to confirm it has power.
- 2. Inspect plug and cord: Look for cuts, burns, or kinks in the Proline freezer's power cord. Replace the cord if damaged.
- 3. Check household fuse/breaker: Reset the breaker or replace the fuse if tripped. If it trips again immediately, there may be a short in the freezer.
- 4. Internal fuse (advanced): Some main PCBs have an internal fuse. With the unit unplugged, access the control box and visually inspect the fuse. Replace only with the exact same rating if blown, and investigate for underlying faults.
