Possible Causes
Failed LED light module, Loose light connector, Damaged wiring in door or cabinet, Faulty control board light driver
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the freezer before replacing any light modules.
Steps:
- Check door switch: Ensure the door switch operates correctly; replace if faulty.
- Inspect LED module: Remove the light cover inside the freezer. Look for burn marks or water ingress.
- Test voltage: With power restored briefly and great caution, measure voltage at the LED connector (refer to service data). If correct voltage is present but the LED does not light, replace the LED module. Unplug again before replacing.
- Check wiring: If no voltage, inspect wiring back to the control board and replace the board if the light driver is defective.
