How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the freezer if you will be removing the door or hinges.
Steps:
- Inspect gasket: Look for tears, gaps, or areas where the gasket does not contact the cabinet.
- Clean gasket: Wipe with warm soapy water to remove dirt and improve sealing.
- Adjust door: Tighten hinge screws and adjust the door so it is square with the cabinet.
- Replace gasket: If damaged, remove the old gasket and install a new OEM Westinghouse door gasket, pressing it fully into the retaining channel.
