Freezer displays E16; internal light may not work correctly or may flicker

Safety first: Unplug the freezer before replacing light modules or switches.

• Check door switch: Press the door switch manually. If the light does not respond, test the switch for continuity and replace if faulty.
• Inspect LED module: Remove the light cover and inspect the LED board for burn marks or water damage. Replace the LED module if damaged.
• Test wiring: Verify continuity from the control board to the light module. Repair any breaks.
• Control board: If switch, wiring, and LED are good, the light driver on the main board may have failed and require board replacement.
