Possible Causes
Low or fluctuating mains voltage, Failing internal power supply on IVT control board, Loose neutral or ground connection, Electrical noise from other equipment
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power at the breaker before inspecting electrical connections.
- Check mains supply: Verify that the furnace is on a dedicated circuit with correct voltage and breaker size. Look for signs of tripped breakers or loose connections in the panel (by a qualified electrician).
- Inspect terminal block: Inside the furnace, check the L/N/PE terminals for tight screws and no discoloration or burning.
- Look for moisture: Ensure there is no condensation or water ingress on the control board or wiring that could cause shorts.
- Monitor operation: After tightening connections, restore power and observe. If the control still resets randomly, the internal power supply on the control board may be failing.
Control board replacement should be carried out by an authorized IVT technician.
