Possible Causes
Empty oil tank, Clogged oil filter, Air in oil line, Faulty oil pump on burner
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power and close the oil service valve before opening oil components. Protect against spills.
Steps:
- Check oil level: Confirm that the oil storage tank has sufficient fuel.
- Inspect oil filter: Locate the oil filter assembly near the tank or burner. If there are signs of heavy contamination or restricted flow, have the filter element replaced.
- Bleed air (qualified persons): Air in the oil line can prevent pressure buildup. A technician can bleed the oil pump on the Weishaupt burner and check pump pressure.
