E01

Burner does not start, control locks out shortly after call for heat

No flame establishment on start-up

E02

Burner starts ignition sequence but locks out with no flame signal after a few seconds

Flame detection failure

E03

Burner locks out during pre-purge, fan runs briefly then stops

Air pressure / fan proving fault

E04

Burner locks out shortly after flame is established, repeated short cycles with lockout

Flame loss during operation

E05

Burner does not start, display indicates overtemperature or safety limit trip

Overtemperature / safety thermostat trip

E06

Control shows sensor fault, burner does not start or runs erratically

Temperature sensor (NTC) failure

E07

Burner locks out with indication of gas valve or oil valve fault

Fuel valve actuation failure

E08

Burner locks out with pre-ignition or flame present before start signal

False flame / stray light detection

Burner attempts to start but locks out with indication of ignition fault
