Controller shows outdoor sensor fault (if weather-compensated control is used)

Safety: Turn off power before working on wiring.

Steps:

• Locate sensor: Find the outdoor temperature sensor mounted on an exterior wall, usually on the north or shaded side.
• Inspect cable: Check for physical damage to the cable and junction box. Repair or replace damaged sections.
• Check connections: At the WCM controller, ensure the outdoor sensor terminals are tight and wires are not swapped.
• Replace sensor: If the sensor is visibly damaged or readings are clearly wrong, replace it with a genuine Weishaupt outdoor sensor.
