How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before accessing control compartment.
Steps:
- Controller settings: On the WCM or local control, check if a continuous fan mode is enabled and switch it off if not desired.
- Fan limit: For warm air furnaces with a fan/limit control, ensure the fan-off temperature setting is correct and that the control is not stuck.
- Relay check: A technician can test the fan relay on the control board and replace it if welded closed.
