Courtesy light on the opener does not turn on or stays on permanently.

Safety first: Disconnect power before changing bulbs or working inside the opener.

• Check bulb: Replace the bulb with the correct wattage and type recommended by Cardale. Do not exceed the maximum rating.
• Inspect socket: Look for corrosion or heat damage at the lamp holder. Clean or replace if necessary.
• Reset light timer: Some models allow manual control of the light. Ensure it is not set to permanent ON mode.
• PCB fault: If the light still fails or stays on regardless of settings, the light control circuit on the PCB is likely faulty. Replace the Cardale control PCB if the function is important.
