Safety first: Disconnect power before working on the rail or door hardware.

• Identify the stopping point: Note exactly where in the travel the door stops. Manually move the door to that position and inspect closely.
• Inspect track and rail: Look for dents, screws protruding into the track, or misaligned brackets. Straighten minor bends and tighten all mounting brackets to the wall and ceiling.
• Check door panels and hinges: At the problem position, inspect hinges and panel joints for distortion or loose fasteners. Replace bent hinges and tighten all hinge screws into the door panels.
• Inspect drive carriage: Examine the Cardale trolley/carriage that connects to the door arm. Ensure it slides smoothly along the rail and that its locking pawl is not partially engaged. Lubricate the rail lightly if recommended by Cardale.
• Re‑program travel limits: Clear and re‑set the open and close limits according to the Cardale manual so the controller learns the full, unobstructed travel.
