• Verify remote type: Confirm that the remote handset is a compatible Cardale model and matches the frequency specified for your opener.
• Replace remote batteries: Fit fresh, high‑quality batteries in the remote and ensure correct polarity.
• Clear receiver memory: On the opener head, press and hold the “LEARN” or “PROG” button until the indicator LED flashes or goes out (refer to the Cardale manual). This clears all stored remotes.
• Re‑learn remotes: Press the LEARN button briefly, then press the remote button until the opener acknowledges (LED flash or light blink). If E6 appears immediately, the receiver section on the PCB may be faulty.
• Reduce interference: Move Wi‑Fi routers, baby monitors, or other RF devices away from the opener if possible. Test with the car parked outside the garage to rule out shielding issues.
• Replace receiver/PCB: If no remotes can be learned and E6 persists, replace the Cardale radio receiver module (if plug‑in type) or the entire control PCB.
