Possible Causes
Tripped circuit breaker or blown fuse feeding opener, Faulty mains socket or fused spur, Loose live/neutral at Cardale terminal block, Failed internal fuse on control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: If you are not comfortable working with mains electricity, contact a qualified electrician.
- Check other devices: Verify whether other appliances on the same circuit have power. Reset any tripped breakers or replace blown fuses with the correct rating.
- Inspect plug or spur: If the opener is plugged in, test the socket with another device. For a fused spur, check and replace the fuse if blown.
- Check opener terminal block: Isolate power, remove the opener cover, and inspect the L/N/E terminals. Tighten any loose screws and look for heat damage.
- Internal fuse: Locate the small fuse on the Cardale control PCB. If blown, replace with the same type and rating. If it blows again immediately, the board or transformer is faulty and should be replaced.
